San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is one of the world’s busiest airports.
San Francisco Airport is served by 22 domestic airlines and 27 international airline carriers. There are non-stop flights to 65 U.S. cities and 32 different international destinations. SFO is the base of operations for Virgin America and is a major hub of United Airlines.
The airport has 3 terminals for domestic flights as well as those to Canada and 1 terminal that functions for international flights. AirTrain is the automated people mover which operates throughout the airport. AirTrain has two lines. The Red Line connects all the terminals, parking garages, and the BART Station. The Blue Line connects the terminals, parking garages, and BART with the rental car agencies.
There is a wide range of amenities located in the San Francisco International Airport. The airport has a variety of dining options and drink establishments. The dining options are primarily branches of local favorites in the area, from airport cafes to fast food and full-service restaurants ranging in a wide variety of cuisines. There is quite a mixture of different stores in the airport as well, from bookstores, and gift shops to designer brands retail outlets.
